Detroit-born and Atlanta-based, Ash Lauryn is pushing the Black American roots of house and techno forward. Her acclaimed platform, Underground And Black, which began as a blog and later evolved into a beloved NTS Radio show and event series, has become a cornerstone of honest storytelling and celebration within the electronic dance community. Ash Lauryn’s releases, including collaborations with Stefan Ringer, Jimpster, and the timeless anthem “Underground & Black” with Kai Alce blend Detroit house roots with soulful spoken word. Not to mention her family-centered day party Mother May I, Ash Lauryn is truly preserving the roots of dance music into the future.
