Unlocking the DX7 with James Philips

Electronic musical instruments are designed to break down barriers to creativity, harnessing technological innovation to help artists translate their ideas in non-traditional ways, Beyond the boundaries of theory and virtuosity.
Our mission is straightforward: to provide aspiring artists of all backgrounds access to high-quality music technology.
That’s why we created…

We’re a space to gather, hang out, connect, listen, and explore. We host workshops and demonstrations, parties, open decks, and performances.

We have an extensive library of vintage and modern synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, modular and eurorack gear, performance tools, and cutting edge music tech - plugged in and ready to play.

Help Us Build BOOM Club’s Permanent Home
BOOM Club is growing—and we’re working toward a permanent space of our own. A space where electronic music lovers, curious creators, and aspiring artists can come together, explore, and build community.
In our future home, we’ll offer membership plans that give you access to everything BOOM Club is about:
- Our synthesizer library
- Recording hours and engineering support
- Workshops, events, and performances
In addition, each paid membership funds our scholarship program, which allows aspiring artists and creators to access BOOM Club’s resources for free.
